APSET (AP State Eligibility Test for teachers posts) notification 2018 by Andhra University Releasing on 19th March – exam on July 30
Notification for the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) – 2017 will be issued on March 19 by Andhra University which is conducting the test on behalf of Government of India on July 30. The test will be based on the pattern of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC.
Addressing newsmen in the senate hall here on Wednesday, Andhra University vice-chancellor G Nageswara Rao informed that the test will be conducted for the recruitment of the assistant professor or lecturer posts in government colleges and universities in AP in 31 subjects for which UGC had granted permission.
The test will be conducted in six regional centres Vizag, Rajamahedravaram, Guntur, Nellore, Anantapur and Tirupati. On the pattern of the test, the VC said that the syllabus will be as prescribed by UGC-CSIR and UGC-NET for Paper I (100 marks), II (100 marks) and III (150 marks) and have no negative marking.
Exam Centers for APSET 2017:
Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Nellore, Rajamahendravaram, Anantapur, and Tirupati.
Paper I which is common for all the candidates will be held in bilingual (English and Telugu), while for paper II and III, some subjects like Commerce, Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology and Social Work will be in bilingual.
Examination Application Fee for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test September 2017:
Examination fee for General Rs.1000/-
For BC Rs.800/-
For SC/ST/PH/VH Rs.500/-
Candidates have to pay this application fee through online only using credit/debit card or net banking.
The registration fee for APSET-2017 for general category is `1,000, BC: `800; SC/ST/PH/VH is `500. Registration for the test would be only through online application and fee should be paid through credit card or debit card or net banking. Educational Qualifications Required for AP SET 2017:
The candidate must have qualified the Post Graduation in any relevant subject.
Those who are appeared for the final semester or final year exams of Post Graduation they are also eligible to attend the exam.
Available Subjects for Assistant Professors Eligibility test of AP SET 2017:
There are total 31 subjects available in this current Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professors in the streams of Science, Arts and Humanities.
APSET Examination Pattern for Assistant Professor Eligibility Test 2017:
AP SET exam will be conducted for 400 marks and consists of 3 papers.
3 papers are in the form of objective type multiple choice questions only.
There is no negative marking in this AP SET 2016 Asst Professors Eligibility Test.
