Andhra University admissions 2017: Apply for Integrated B.Tech course

Andhra University offers a total of 16 courses in Engineering and Technology discipline. A candidate must have passed HSC examination or 10+2 or any other equivalent degree with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics in order to apply for B.Tech. and BE courses at Andhra University.

The admission to B.Tech. & BE courses is through AUEET. AUEET is an entrance test conducted by Andhra University. The test is of 90 minutes duration and consists of 100 objective type questions.

A candidate needs to apply to the program through the prescribed format for AUEET. The registration for AUEET begins by the mid of April.

The Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam has released an admission notification inviting eligible, interested candidates to apply for its six-year integrated dual degree Bachelor of Technology plus Master of Technology (BTech plus MTech) offered in various disciplines and twinning programmes such as Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Aircraft Engineering and BTech in Electro-Mechanical/Chemical/Electronics Engineering offered at University Engineering College for the academic year 2017.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

Those interested in applying should have passed class 12 with mathematics, physics and chemistry with minimum 50 per cent marks.

Selection procedure

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET 2017) conducted by the university.

Important date

  • The last date for submission of online application form is April 15
  • The last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs 1500 is April 25
  • Hall-tickets can be downloaded from April 29
  • AUEET will be conducted from May 6 to 8
  • Results will be declared on May 18.
