Eligibility Criteria for AP EdCET 2022

(i) Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for AP Ed.CET-2022.
(i) the candidates should be Indian Nationals.
(ii) The Candidates should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
(iii) Educational Qualifications:
(a) Candidates should have passed/appeared for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for AP EdCET-2022.Candidates should be required to produce a marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.
(b) Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree i.e.B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M and or in the Postgraduate Degree in relevant subject or 5years integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other qualification equivalent thereto. However, the candidates belonging to all other reserved categories i.e. S.C. S.T.,
B.C. (A/B/C/D/E),and physically handicapped should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
Note: The candidates who passed B.E / B.Tech with a minimum of 50% marks, in Mathematics, and Physics are eligible for admission into the Course.
(iv) Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 19 years on 1st July of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit.

MEDIUM OF ENTRANCE TEST

The question paper will be in English and Telugu except for the English methodology. However, candidates opting to write the Entrance Test in Urdu medium will be served with Urdu paper and such candidates shall opt for Kurnool as Test Centre.

Application Fee for AP EdCET 2022

First candidates can visit the official website and click on AP Ed.CET 2022. Candidates can select the fee payment tab and make the payment through online modes such as AP Online by Cash or Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Now candidates can able to check to know the payment status.

Important Dates for AP EdCET 2022 Notification

AP EdCET 2022 Admit Card

Candidates who have filled out the application those candidates can download the admit card through the official website. Candidates can follow the steps and enter the Registration number/ Date of Birth (DOB) to download the AP Ed.CET Hall Ticket 2022. You can check the complete details about the exam such as Name, Center, Time of exam and instructions. Admit Card will be available in the month of April and appear in the exam.

AP EDCET 2022 Exam Pattern                  

1) Mode of exam: Offline mode

2) Duration: 2 Hours

3) no. of questions: 150 questions

4) marks: 150 marks

5) Each question carries 1 mark.

6) No negative marking

7) Part-A will be General English and Part B will be General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude.

8) Candidate must choose a subject for Part C of the question paper from mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences, social studies, and English subjects.

AP EdCET 2022 Results

Once you will be given the exam after those candidates are totally worried about the result. So candidates who have appeared in the exam can check the AP EdCET Result 2022. According to news, the result will be declared in May on its official website. Candidates must have to get the AP EdCET 2022 Qualifying Marks i.e. 25%. It means you need to get at least 37 marks out of the total marks. There will be no qualifying marks if you belong to SC/ ST category.

AP EDCET Counselling 2022

The final step of admission will be counselling. So counselling will be starting from June to July within three rounds. Candidates will call for the counseling according to rank wise. Candidates must have to check the counselling procedure and make the payment Rs.1000/ – for Gen & Rs.500/ – for SC/ ST Category. You can fill the web option during the registration and lock it carefully.

After that, you will be able to get the AP EdCET 2022 Seat Allotment Result and download it. Now candidates can report at the institute along with original and Xerox copies of documents. Counseling fee will be nonrefundable.
