APPSC Group 2 Official Key released today by evening : Final Results in March

APPSC is planning to release the official key of the exam on 17th March 2017.

Over 4.8 lakh aspirants appear for Andhra group-II exams

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducted group-II services preliminary exam across the state and in the districts of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy on Sunday peacefully.

APPSC is planning to release the official key of the exam on 27th Feb 2017. It will be released by evening. Then the candidates who appeared for excams can rise the objections over the key within one week. After discussing with experts, the APPSC will finalize the key. The complete process is expected to be closed and the the final list of candidates will be released by March 10th 2017.

The exam was conducted to hire candidates for 442 executive posts and 540 non-executive posts.

Of the 6.5 lakh candidates applied for the posts, 4.8 lakh (73.5%) appeared for the preliminary examination.

The exam was started at 10 am and ended at 12.30pm, while the gates of examination centres were closed by 9.45 am.

The officials denied entry to the latecomers.

The examination was conducted in 1,462 centres of which 86 centres were arranged in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts. The notification for Group-II Service exam was released in November 2016.

“This is the first Group-II  examination after the formation of new state. The competition is so huge and it’s going to be tough fight. The paper was just moderate, neither easy nor tough, the aptitude test seemed to be tough, ” said T Chaitanya Kumar, an aspirant.

Another aspirant V Sneha says the exam pattern was quite tough. “The competition is definitely high in the government sector, particularly for this exam. The paper pattern was good, but the questions were fairly tough compared to those in practise papers,” she said.

APPSC secretary YVST Sai said the candidates who appeared the exam can check the answer key on the website  in a day or two.

“The candidates can file their objections to  the question paper or to the answer key within seven days from the publication of the answer key. The results will out in the last week of March and the Mains will be conducted in the month of May 2017, ” he said.
