The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT) provides education for Diploma, Engineering, and other courses. The colleges for Diploma or Polytechnic in Punjab state are very large in number. The Punjab Diploma Exams are conducted in semester pattern that means per year two semesters will be conducted. In the month of May & June 2019 the 2nd, 4th, the 6th semester will be held so they are called even semesters and in the month of November and December the 1st, 3rd, 5th semesters will be held, that’s why they are called odd semesters.
